New Icon System


We have now collated all of the icons used accross all of the Yodel apps and imported them into one central location. We have been busy tweaking some of them and creating new icons according to our new style guidelines. Not only does this improve consistency it also improves how we design. Developers should hopefully benefit from this too as every icon is exported with the same file type, size etc...

The new icon system will be the first step in our Design System plan that aims to create consistency across all Yodel digital platforms. We have already started to plan with our Analysts and Product Owners on when we can get these planned in and developed.





The eRin redesign project is now in the development stage where we have been focusing on the User Admin page. We have introduced an unambiguous search bar to make finding what you need faster and incorporated the new pagination feature from Solo as well. We have also reduced the complexity of editing and deleting a user. Client feedback has reinforced the success of our new layout in making the user journey on eRin easier and more efficient.

Bridging the Gap for Effective Collaboration

I successfully implemented a design system using Adobe XD, that seamlessly integrated with existing systems, maintained the Yodel branding while enhancing accessibility through the use of darker colours. Designing the system earlier not only laid a solid foundation for future designs but also helped developers, business analysts, as well as testers and fellow designers.
